I'm looking at doing this 10k oil change myself too.... One old "shade tree mechanic" trick I use is puting a baggie around the filter (or, in this case, the filter assembly) once I have it loose enough to unscrew by hand....the baggie catches the oil....wonder if this will work with the Mrs's RX?
