  1. I have a light colored interior and I have just used a spray upholstery/carpet cleaner like you get in the supermarket or Wal Mart. Works just fine, no issues.
  2. I highly recommend the AWD. We had more snow that usual here in the St Louis area and the AWD was just amazing going through 6-8 inches of snow.
  3. I've had mine for a year now and unlike most new cars I've had the only time this has been in the shop was for the first service. I'm usually a German car guy (328ci, X5, CLK500) and the quality of this vehicle is superior. The fit and finish is amazing. I get a lot of compliments on the color also. (Brandywine)
  4. By the way (and Im not joking) make sure your batteries arent weak in the garage door opener.
  5. I went through last winter with the stock Michelin tires. We had a good bit of snow and I drive through six inches of snow with no problems at all. I have a AWD model.
  6. Personally I'm not gonna take the time to rotate tires every 5k miles. I don't think that's necessary.
  7. I dont know about all that engineering stuff. All I know is that my 2008 went through a lot of midwestern snow in a bad winter and I had no issues getting anywhere at all. It was pretty darned amazing. That's about as technical as I get. lol
  8. We has some severe weather here in the midwest and I ended up in a ditch. The airbags went off, which by the way hurt like heck. Just curious, are the really expensive to get put back to where they need to be, if you can even do that? Thanks.
  9. ...just won the J.D. Powers and Associates award for best mid-size SUV?
  10. I also have AWD and get about 21 mpg in mixed driving. In the St Louis area this year we had some decent snowfalls. During one 6-8" snowfall I went out to see how my new 350 would do in the snow and I actually found it pretty amazing. You wont be disappointed.
  11. Just wondering if you guys have Japanese or Canadian built 350's? I have a Japanese built one and have no issues after 4k miles. My center console is backlit, I can easily see which controls I need. No paint chips so far and no flaws in the windshield.
  12. I live in the St Louis area where in the winter we can have 50 one day and 15 the next. Mostly a suburban type driving area where Im averaging around 19.
  13. A man was out driving when he saw a police car in his rear-view mirror, with it's siren wailing. The man pulled over and the police car stopped behind him. The policeman approached the man's car and said to him: "Do you know that your wife fell out of the car five miles back?" The man replied: "Oh thank God! I thought I had gone deaf!"
