I have a 2013 RX450h which for over a year I tried to find in my 1400 page navigation manual how to add the backup grip lines to my backup camera picture. Finally I went to dealership and had technologist try to find it in y car. He finally advised me that I do not have that capability in my software. I told him that I found that hard to believe since it have been on Lexus models for years. He said certian models did not have it but could not tell me why of which models. 1) Has anyone else fould they do not have this feature on 2013 RX450h? 2) Is anyone aware if there is a soft ware patch or upgrade that could add this? 3) Has anyone ever had 2) done and if so did you use the dealership of outside shop?

I have a 99 LS400 purchased as Certified car when 1 year old. Almost 3 yrs after purchase, the digital lights that indicate stations began to fail so an 8 looks like a 3 etc. I went to Lexus asking how you fix and they immediately told me they would replace radio as warranty was still good. A little over 3 years later exact same thing happened but this time lexus said it was outside warranty and woulod have to be replaced. This is a high end rado that has a $2 part broken. Of course I said no and now most of the indicators are gone. To me this is cleasrly a design flaw in ths model as I have a 99 RX300 with no problems. Any thoghts on how to fic cheaply?

I just made appointment at my mechanics to have a new timing belt installed per 100,000 mile (I have 105k). He immediately recommended I also replace seals (3ea) and water pump saying if one of these goes in next 100K it will be expensive. Should I do this?

Does anyone have a copy of a 99 RX repair Manaual that I can access online.
