  1. Hi Sidney07, I had a similar problem with my Infiniti once, I lost all power getting on the freeway and every light on the dash was on...Turns out it was a faulty throttle sensor, once they replaced it, I never had any problems again. Sorry it happened to your daughter, it is one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me.
  2. How about your cell phones? Now I'm told it interferes with cell phone reception? Has any of you Metallic Tint owners noticed any loss of reception? Thanks Sidney07
  3. you guys are awesome, I think we should follow up in about 6 months. I'll come back when I get my windows done...soon, I hope <_< Manolo, show us pix of your care when it's ready please Serenity Sound...WOW...YOUR RIDE IS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!
  4. Hi Bluey... :P I know...I never use the radio but my MP3 player and custom cd's anyways...and my MP3 has am/fm radio, should I need to listen, and my car radio didn't work for whatever reason. I decided to go metallic
  5. you're absulutely right! I missed that :chairshot: Thank you
  6. Hey Bluey, indeed we called the dealer and Lexus does not put the antenna in the window anymore. They use the Sharkfin for all antennas wethere the car has satellite or not. But thank you for your repply because I really like the metallic tints
  7. thank you so much for the 411. I will stay away from metallic tint
  8. Hello all, I want to tint my windows metallic white to match my starfire pearl ride; I just want to make sure the antennas in our cars are no longer located in the rear window, (the manual says nothing on the subject). The sharkfin antenna is now the official antenna wether the car has satellite or not? Please educate me and thank you all in advance for your inpute.
  9. wow that is so low, I coudln't drive it like that, I'm paranoid as it is about scratching the bumper when parking at the store. She looks so happy though
  10. it's too late for me <_< :cries: oh well...I'll definately get the front air dam in the future and I have to switch rims ASAP. I do miss that feeling of being attached to the road and taking tight turns in total control. Perhaps it's for the best...to keep me out of trouble B) Please post some pics of your gf's ride when you have a chance.
  11. very pretty color that matador red...excellent choice, my husband wanted to get it but I do drive a bit over the speed limit (not much :P ) but enough to get me noticed :D and yes, I didn't even think about color matching...it would definately be easier to cover up little blemishes withe the starfire pearl...Thank you ;)
  12. Hi there USCjd, yes, unfortunately it comes in a bundle and yes, I have to drive from LA all the way to Newport Beach (about 45 miles), but to me it's worth it because I have to keep this car until it falls to pieces; also, 2 sets of tires (I'm sure I'll need in the next 4 years or less) will pay for the package and more. In any case, you'll be so pleased with the car nothing else will matter, as you glide smoothly and luxuriously in your beautiful car :D
  13. Perhaps I am a psychopatic driver but, after I had to replace the high profile tires for my Infiniti after less than 20,000 miles and couldn't affort at the time the $350 a piece set. We settled for less expensive tires and the car didn't perform as well. I was not a happy camper for a long time; the tires make a great differce and they wear out fast (mine anyways :whistles: ) So, we definately got the "tires for life" package and it will be worth it, provided we keep the car for at least 5 years. Getting new tires once every year and 1/2 was an offer/price we couldn't resist.
  14. For the money you are investing in this "luxury" vehicle, they should at least try to give you a solution. Perhaps it is time to write a letter to the Dealer's manager and CC Lexus/Toyota headquaters. They do not like bad publicity nor do they like to have big brother involved. Best of luck to you and I really hope they replace the unit.
