  1. They are worth every penny I paid for mine. I have cool blue LEDS in my triple spots and a blue and purple LED in the halo, along with another cool blue one in the city light spot.
  2. I have not heard anything else. Apparently LexTech has some kind of patent. But I don't see how they can patent putting lights in gauge clusters. Regardless, There needs to be another source for cluster lighting.
  3. Don't give Lextech any business. OLT is why I left CL after a while. He's extremely rude an inconsiderate. Total E-thug. I'm going to start working on ways to do this myself and sell it without flaming people for asking questions. I'm an engineering major, so I think I have a bit of knowledge on the subject ;)
  4. I got my 7" Pioneer for about $350. Worth every penny.
  5. You might have a blown head gasket. Oil in coolant/coolant in oil? Have a compression test done. If you aren't familiar with one, take it to a shop.
  6. Infinity speakers/subs and Alpine amps, Pioneer head units and Rockford wiring is the way to go. Thank me later
  7. Clubna-t has some good help if you get hung up
  8. Hey guys, This isn't another "my needles burned out thread." Who else besides LexTech does gauge conversions? I am not giving LexTech my business unless I absolutely have to.
  9. The one close to the arm rest or up by the radio? Either way here's what you do: One by the arm rest: Flip the lid if its there, pull up on the black part from inside the cup area. Replace with new one. One by the radio: Remove the arm rest area cup holder as detailed above. Then, there are two screws behind that--remove those. Next, pull your parking brake. Using the shift lock button, pull the shifter to D and then slide down the bottom cover to expose those two screws. Remove those two screws and pull the shifter off. Next, pull up on the shifter trim piece and unplug the connectors. Then, remove the screws that hold the center console trim in place. When that's finished, remove that trim and flip it over. Take out the plugs for the hazards, temp, and volume controls. Then where that cup holder or the pocket is depending on your year of SC, push the little pins out gently and replace it with the new cup holder. Installation is reverse of the removal.
  10. much information has changed since then huh? Gated shifter WILL work. Its a matter of getting some wiring work done and a few longer bolts. The SC300 is W-A-Y easier than the 400 swap, as the 98-00 SC400's had a five speed auto instead of the 92-97's four speed auto. I will do a write up once mine is complete
  11. Your head unit MIGHT be the problem. I was in the process of hard wiring my old Sony into my car. It wouldn't work. I bought the remote, a new tail, and it still wouldnt work. One day it magically started working. But I have since upgraded to a Pioneer touch screen monitor.
  12. I saw an SC400 in the junk yard that someone had gone over the lit section of the needles with white paint. You could see that when the car was off (obviously since it was in a junk yard). That's an idea. I have also heard mixed reviews about LexTech. It seems that even if you pack the living daylights out of your package when you send it to him, its still your fault if it doesn't work when you get it back. He claims that he solely packs it back with what YOU send it to him. While I understand that he can't pack for everyone, there needs to be better accountability. Do you know who it is that runs that business? It's that OLT guy that is a moderator of the SC300/400 forum on ClubLexus. He's a complete asshat and one of the rudest people I have ever encountered on a forum. i know tons of people that have left CL because of him. I wish there were someone else that did these conversions for people. I'd rather give them even a little more money than give Brian (OLT) one red cent. But thats another ball of wax.
  13. Well if you like ClubLexus (Which I H-A-T-E) you will notice that according to everyone, "boost it and slam it" will solve ANYTHING and will beat Veyron's!!
  14. And yes no problems bolting them in. The plastic covers that go over the track mounting bolts are different but thats just for decoration anyway.
  15. ^You can feel the road better with these seats in, so in turn its easier to drive in the twisties.
