  1. This should not be a problem. Does the bolt screw in easily without the caliper? If not I would spry some wd-40 in the hole and try again. If still hard to turn it could be cross threaded. Also while the caliper is off try the other bolts in their respective holes. Regarding lining the holes with the caliper it should fit perfect since it came off. When I did mine I kept the first bolt loose until I started the other bolt. I've done about 3 sets of these on different SC's and never found the bolts to be a problem. Good Luck the azz
  2. They do operate the mixing doors for the heat/ac. They are located under the dash and behind the dash. Not too difficult. Mine had some dirt and lint on them. Just clean and put back in. You can also buy new ones for about $120 each but mine just needed cleaning. I have 94k on the vehicle. theazz
  3. Forgot to get back to everyone after I cleaned my servos. Yes they were very dirty. Cleaned them and everything works great. No more noise in the dash. theazz
  4. I really can't do that because I don't know if the problem is your car electronics or my unit. What I will do is take a picture of the unit temporarily plugged into my SC430 and take a picture of it. I will go through all the buttons to make sure they work. That's the best I can do. Tell me what is your unit currently doing. theazz
  5. I'm sure this is the correct unit. I connected it in my 03 SC430 and it worked perfect. Turned out it wasn't my control unit that was not functioning but my servos. theazz
  6. I have a spare one that I thought I needed but I don't. My part number says 55960-24260. It's a complete unit. theazz
  7. Static or gurgle sound is back. Apparently others have had this and it's faulty servo's. There are a total of 4 on the sc. Cleaned all 4 (trying this first) . Sure hope this does the trick. Theazz
  8. I have a 2007 rx350 and need tires. I've done Michelins and now looking at Continental Pure Contact Eco Plus. ( best seller on tire rack). Want quiet tires. Anyone have an opinion? Theazz
  9. Looking for an ac-heater control unit (sits above the radio) or just the computer portion. I've seen them for $200 but trying to pay less than that. theazz
  10. Shawn I received my cree lamps for my reverse sockets on my sc430. I can't seem to get them to work. I've reversed the polarity (reversing the bulb) but nothing. When I put my original back in it works fine. Did you have any issues when you did yours. theazz
  11. Luckily I was able to unplug and plug in again and the noise stopped. So I'm thinking just a bad connection at least for now.
  12. Finally found the problem. Decided to dive into this and started to pull fuses to see if it stopped. Found the fuse and started to take things apart from the power source to the last thing in the circuit. Turns out it was a bad connector connection on the back of the AC control unit. Happy Days theazz
  13. Shawn What about the door sill plate bulb. Did you replace it and how did you get it out. I can get the sill plate out but can't see how to get access to the lamp. theazz
