  1. I have now been driving my 2010 RX for the last two months or so, very satisfied with the car overall, despite some room for improvements I thought might be of interest to you. Brake: I have to say, I am still trying to adjust for the RX's brake setting. It's just too "weak" compared to my A4 (B7 2.0T). I don't know if they made the brake system purposely that way, but I find it slow to respond to sudden braking. Got conclude this car is built for comfort ride, and never good for responsive driving; :( Center storage space: Can someone explain to me how on earth Japanese perfectionists have failed to spot this bad design!!!! It is simply unreachable under normal use. I don't know about you guys, I think the position of the center storage space is strangely placed to the point I have to stop my car every time I am trying to reach something in the tray. Other than the above two points I am generally satisfied with the car and hope these two drawbacks can be solved in the future.
  2. I have a credit card key as well for the 2010 RX.
  3. Very true. My Audi A4 got some very powerful brake system. I guess I just gotta slow down a bit then, when driving my RX.
  4. Hi all, I had my 2010 RX350 for nearly a month now. I find that the factory brake system is not really up to the job, especially for highway use. :( Any suggestions on how to improve it or upgrades it. I tried to find either the brembo brake system or Tom's brake system to match my RX, but none offers them. Any other suggestions you folks may know of that can share with me will be highly appreciated.
  5. Hi! I am not sure exactly what your question mean, so if my reply is not so relevant, please pardon me. Mine RX has HID headlamps and I notice that the "high-beam" is separate from the "low-beam" HID projector headlamps. So, when I shine my high-beam, the projector "low-beam" lamps will still be on.
  6. Are you sure you can play DVD on the front screen (navigation screen)? Mine can!
  7. Just got it for a week or so! Much better car to drive than the previous version. Very comfortable to cruise at high speed for a long distance.
  8. Wired, my 2010 RX350 has guidelines. But I am in Taiwan, so I guess they removed the feature it in the US.
  9. So nice, that is also the colour of my new RX350!
  10. Hi!, I have just purchased one. I am in Taiwan and the RX350 here comes with sports suspension as standard. Unfortunately, although they claim that suspension is of sports setting, but I still don't feel confident enough to do high-speed cornering, especially when driving up and down the winding mountain trails in Taiwan. But, as you correctly pointed out cruising at high speed is really comfortable. FYI Rick
  11. Hi~ I am also a Lexus GS300 ('06) owner from Taiwan. After reading the instruction posted in the other thead about how to bypass the DVD restriction, I am really interested to try it out myself. But, before I wanna do so, I would appreciate very much if you could help me to clear some of the questions I have related to the modification. 1. One of the bypass instruction reads: Use a ring terminal and an 18 awg wire to connect the monitor side of the yellow wire to chassis ground. What does this mean? (I am sorry for my liguistic limitation here, as I am going to ask a local car stereo guys to do it for me, so, I would have to make sure I am passing on the right instruction.) What is a ring terminal ? or an 18 awg wire? what does it mean to connect the wire to chassis ground? I figure the best way to show this is if anyone can kindly post the "finished" look of the layouts when the bypass is done. 2. After you have done the bypass, is your ASL feature of your stereo still working? ASL is the feature whereby the stereo would automatically compensate for any loss of sound quality or volume when car is traveling at high speed. I would appreciate once again for your help. Cheers,
