you can change the setting for all the doors to unlock by yourself. sit in the car and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on your keyfob for about 5 sec. you will hear a beep and see the change onr your info screen. you can also do it outside the car, but obviously you can't see the screen. if your stereo is ML then you need to depress the parking brake to watch dvd. no ML= no dvd.

Its been like this since I remember.. plus @ my 5000 service.. they rotated the tires before they rotated them again! I'm not sure if they align the tires during a remount...? Again thanks for the help.. you say they rotated your tires? your info says that you have an is 350. tires can't/shouldn't be rotated. could tis be the ghost in the machine?

i'm gonna wait for a new one. spoke to the sales manager today. i said what's the problem? this is something on the lexus website, all the forums that i belong to(this one and club lexus) state that dealers in calif are bursting with is 350's. so the sales manager says that most of the is350 are now being built with the x or sport pack, i orderewd luxury pack. gonna have to wait. i told hi i don't want a car from another dealer that's been test driven!!! :chairshot:

My dealer calls me today and tells me that my IS350 is in and when do i want to pick it up? since it was delayed for a week by the denver blizzard, and another snowstorm is coming this weekend, i say how about tonight or tomorrow. he says fine, and i try calling my wife to tell her to be home to drive me over to the dealer in the evening( this will be an extra car, no trade). 20 min later the dealer calls me again to tell me that the was told by the prep people that the car was damaged during digging around the car the other day. he says that it's some damage on the hood that will need some paint work. he asks if i want the car. I declined, and now i have to go through the whole process again. Hopefully this time they will come up with my first choice color SGM. any thoughts? is this a lowball ploy, with someone else coming n with a higher bid than me, or does this sound legit or what?

what rotten timing! my dealer calls yesterday to say my car is coming in today and they will prep it on thursday and can i pick it up on friday. i would prefer sat pickup, but will demure to fri. now a blizzard is hitting denver. RATS!!!!!!!

what about the octane grade at high altitutes. i live in denver. in my acura tl i've used all three grades, and have never,ever noticed knock or other problems. my dad always felt that it was all the same gas. anyway, i've heard that the grade needs change at altitude.

silly question. i know that this is a stand alone option, but i also have seen it's controls in the nav system when looking through the scanned manual for the nav system. so does the park assist come as part of the nav system?

i was looking at kbb site and lexus site and lexus brochure. couldn't find anything. then i looked at my consumer report pricing report. it states that the NV group has parking sensors with it. that was the only thing different. does that mean that if you buy the ML pack, you get parking assist?
