  1. Hi: I have an 07 LS460 and the AC system has a hard time keeping the cabin cool. I Live in texas so it's hot but the AC fan/blower never comes off of high and the cabin is still not very cool. I have put a gage on the Low side port and it appears to be full. Any suggestions? PS I also have a 2002 and a 2004 Ls430 and their AC systems are great. In fact the 2002 will freeze you out of the car. Thanks
  2. Hi is there a way to search the topics. Such as "front shocks"? Thanks Fran
  3. Can anyone tell me how to search the forum for a specific topic?
  4. I have a 2001 LS 430 that just turned 100K. If I drive over a dirt or rocky road it sounds and feels like the front suspension is about to fall off. I just replaced the tires with Michelin MXV4's and had the wheels aligned. I asked that the front end be checked and was told it was fine. ( It's a local shop that I've been going to for quite a while and they have fixed all of my cars and I trust them) On a normal road or on the highway at speeds around 80 the car handles and drives fine. It tracks well. And the shocks/struts seem normal. But if I go over a rough road or pull into a driveway that has a 1 or 2 inch lip it bangs. Any suggestions? I also have a 2004 LS430 and I've read that there was an issue with the steering column. Could this be something similar with the 2001? Thanks Fran

  6. As shown on http://www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/1999/1999LSspecs.pdf , the standard and optional tires were: Summer Bridgestone Turanza ER33 P225/60R16 97V (Code: 035629) or All-Season Dunlop SP Sport 4000 P225/60R16 97V (Code: 0207-55). Thanks for the info...
  7. Can anyone tell me what type of tires were original equipment on the 99 LS400? thanks
  8. I have a 96 LS400. If I'm cruising anywhere from 40 to 60 mph and I let off the gas, the RPM drops around 1000 RPMs. It happens when I'm trying to maintain a constant speed and I am feathering the gas. There is a jerking motion as i go back on the gas. Any ideas?...Throttle control? transmission control? Thanks
  9. Can anyone tell me for sure if the 96 LS-400 has an interference motor. I want to make sure before I lose a motor due to a blown timing belt.
