  1. Reflected in the IR spectrum, not visible. Shorter wavelength = better distance penetration...
  2. Mine idles at about 1/2 gauge. Rev = increased oil pressure = higher guage reading. Idling at next to nothing? I dunno, could just be the sensor, but I am not a professed technical genius of this truck. My $.02
  3. The definition of "really" is relative. My rears need to be done. Front mounts or bushings were the first to go. Was in Phoenix, and at under 55 degrees F they would click and clack like crazy. Now here in NC, the rear sounds bad at about 40 F and below.
  4. I'm just wondering what takes 2 hours to complete. I've not done this on the ES, but my old Porsche and my buddies Nissan we used to do when kids just took like 15 minutes (granted there are 2 more plugs here). Is it just placement of the engine and hard to get at the plugs?
  5. search on mud. ih8mud.com, unless you're the dude who already ask over there! less technical over here...
  6. Good Lord, Grey Goose and and and and Pepsi? Rum & Gator I get (OK not much), but dood, Vodka is Supposed to be "No taste". Replace that $35 bottle and recycle into some parts fo yo car!
  7. Dude, conservatively, the thing weighs close to 2X the Caravan...
  8. take it back to the dealer and have them actually fix the problem for the $700 you shelled out!
  9. move to a place that is less windy? sorry, its been a long day, ignore me I couldn't help it..............
  10. CA -- That's definitely BS about the timing belt being PM at 50K. I just had mine done in Scottsdale at 80K, only because they were in there and it was easy to complete at the time. They told me I could get more miles out of it, but it would be more labor in the future b/c they would have to remove all the parts again...
  11. 'cause you got little O2 to react with = less energy in chemical reaction = less heat = less work on cylinder head... as opposed to regular "air" + fuel...
  12. Anyone know a good forum for Infiniti? I'm about to pick up an I30 from my Dad, and would like to know what to expect... -- Mike
  13. my bad, i was thinking '99 plus... sk is correct...
