I have 2002 SC-430,with a shorted audio amp. Question.is the amp located under mat in trunk? How do i remove it for replacement?

ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE DOOR PANEL, SCREWS REMOVED, CLIPS CLEAR, DOOR HANGING FROM TOP. CAN'T SEEM TO LIFT OFF PANEL! HELP! QUESTION, DOES DOOR HANDLE NEED REMOVING?
