  1. I think I need to clean the soap build up from under the mirror or the stain will come back.
  2. So I used a product called "Ultimate Compound" and it removed the water stain with little effort. Thanks for the help.
  3. So I ran the resonator delete for awhile and I began to hate it. At times it sounded like a beater car that needed a new muffler. I ended up installing a high flow resonator. My suggestion is not to do the resonator delete, just go right to the high flow resonator. Save your money.
  4. So I wanted to give my car a little more sound so I went with the resonator delete with stock exhaust. I know the work was done properly because I went to a reputable exhaust shop. There are times when I punch it that there is a knocking/clanging/rattle noise from the exhaust. All other times it sounds great. I really don't know why it makes that rattle noise. As per my dash display, fuel economy has gone to crap. It reads 13L/100km. I wad consistently between 10L and 11L. I'm not sure why it's worse. The car seems to have more power which is an added bonus..

  6. It's strange for sure. Now that I'm paying attention to it, I see other IS with same issue. The difference is that it really shows on the red paint. i have time on the weekend so I'll try to buff it out. im keeping my fingers crossed!!!
  7. Could it be as simple as soap build up from the car wash??? I'm going to take the mirror of and see what I find. Fingers crossed
  8. What is it about the door mirrors that is causing what looks like a stain on the front doors of my IS? it doesn't go away after a wash and wax. Anyone know how to correct this issue? I'm assuming I can buff out the stain?
  9. I have a set of Blizzaks on their own rims for winter. This is a fair weather set up. The tire size I'm interested in is 255/35R18 (Assuming I don't have to roll the fenders). Essentially I'm dressing up my everyday driver, nothing to do with performance. I definitely don't want to turn it into a dog.
  10. Hi everyone, This is my first post. I've looked for information on the Awd system for the IS but I can't find a clear answer. Assuming the diameter of the wheels is almost the same, is there an issue running wider tires in the rear, like a 295? Some have suggested a square set up, others say tire width is not an issue. If I missed a thread on this topic please let me know.
