  1. Anyway to 'fix' the fact that the on-screen maintenance reminder items(06 GS300) can no longer be entered beyond our current year 2022?
  2. Has anyone figured out how to Disable the TPMS on the 06 GS300?
  3. I've seen the same video for 05. i need the 06 as well. still hunting for it.
  4. there must be some literature for the programming procedure. i watched a you tube video for an 05 gs300.
  5. thanks. i will have to ask them that today. as far as i know, these sensors are compatible. i will now have to check that as well. so, if i bought this tool you mentioned, i won't have to take the sensors out to get the id off them. i was going to write down the id numbers for each wheel, but then, i figured the guy knew what he was doing. ugh.
  6. Did the tire center program the ID's for new sensors into the car's ECU? Are the new sensors known to be compatible with your Lexus - not all are.It can take a few minutes to an hour of driving for TPMS warning light in the dash to go out. TPM sensors used on Toyota-made vehicles are activated by tire rotation. A popular inexpensive tool for programming in TPMS sensor ID's and retrieving existing sensor ID's from the vehicle ECU is the ATEQ Quickset - mine was about $140 on eBay or Amazon. thanks. i will have to ask them that today. as far as i know, these sensors are compatible. i will now have to check that as well. so, if i bought this tool you mentioned, i won't have to take the sensors out to get the id off them. i was going to write down the id numbers for each wheel, but then, i figured the guy knew what he was doing. ugh.
  7. i am having trouble with the TPMS as well. tire center installed 4 new sensors that i purchased, but they can't get the system to initialize. what do i do???
  8. I just got the CD service manual to see all the parts that go into the glove box and taking it out.. ok now I can see why its so expensive you have to rip a whole lot of stuff out... I was able to take the lower panel off just below the passenger knee airbag and ... out falls the lever that moves the recir air damper door open and shut.. and it broke off at the damper part so... no replacing just this smaller part... talk about a crappy design... as it turns out the damper door is used a lot as the system needs to adjust it between fresh and recirc air. I was hoping it was s simple fix, but from the directions on how to replace it.. Ill leave it alone. In fact I dont even want the dealer taking this car apart to fix just this.. Ill live with fresh filtered air I guess and can always just leave the small panel for the filter access out and quickly just flip the damper door in the glove box to recir if I absolutely need to. The glove box is a nightmare to remove in the 06 and up GS.. i have to replace the A/c amplifier on my 06 s300. i need to get the glove box out. can you give me a few tips. i cannot find any instructions on removing it. thanks.
