Depends on the source of rattle but try these...
- fold seats flat and then put back to normal (this checks that all hinges etc are locked)
- move seats forward and back a few times
- whilst seats are in place connect seatbelts up
- leave centre armrest down
- lower headrests until they touch the seat.
- check luggage cover is securely locked in place.
- check spare wheel well in case jack is loose.
Good luck!
Try this - put AC on full with no recirculation. Pop the hood - under wiper arms you will find vents. Spray LOTS of anti-bacterial cleaner such as Dettox, Febreeze etc into vents. leave engine/AC running for 5 minutes.
This worked for me.
Simple thing maybe - is there a switch under the dash to switch it off - heard a rumour there is a switch under steering column bottom of dash that deactivates the key less system - this obviously applies to the "new" keyfob system. alternatively we have a few cases in the UK of remotes stopping when near to radio masts / electric garage doors.
You can adjust it slightly......
PRESS INFO button and hold.
with your other hand switch your lights on and off 3 times
You should see a system menu pop up - you can fiddle with bluetooth settings here - I have 3 for send and 2 for receive and it seems a little clearer and little less bassy.
Lexus UK have just replaced my drivers seat under warranty due to creaking noise from base, leather stretching and left hand side cushion going soft. All done FOC under warranty.
Got my 350 12 months ago here in UK. I asked for sensors and was told Lexus have official parking sensor kit. I got them fitted 4 front and 4 rear to mine and they work brilliantly.
In the UK it is called the 800 series parking sensors kit I think. Fronts are on all the time and rears are activated in reverse gear.
Depends on your green beliefs I suppose. However I snagged a great discount on 350 because ratio of 400h to 350 is 9:1 in the UK. I saved enough to cover fuel costs for 3 years.
Glad I found this topic!! Based on what is being said here and on my experience it would appear that a few of us are not happy with Lexus seat comfort. I had similar problem - had a GS which was brilliantly comfortable then got RX and had all sorts of discomfort initially:
- upper hamstring / lower buttock discomfort in left leg. Not a pain but almost as if the seat was tilting to the left or I was sinking lower on this side
- lower back pain in region of left hip/ lower back
- cramp in left leg
Pleased to say I have this problem sorted now :
- went to Chiropractor who diagnosed locking problem with 5th Vertebra leading to nerve problems and hamstring knotting in left leg - I had no physical indications there was a problem when not driving but the seat was amplifying the problem
- therefore I moved my seat forward so my legs would lift up slightly
- removed wallet from right back pocket
- before each journey I massage my hamstring of left leg near buttock (sorry if this conjures up strange images :whistles: )
Now I find the seats very comfortable.
Interesting to note that lots of people over 200lbs notice the problem?? I am 210.
