Just found out we're not getting the IS350 in the UK. We get the hybrid and the 250. Their never going to sell the 250! Road tax will be too high on it. I think they would have more chance of shifting the IS350 over here as if your going to pay obscene road tax per year then it needs to be at least worth it and have a faster car!

Maybe they didn't realise it was installed and if you had said yes go ahead and install it, when they came to do the job they would have realised and said it already has it there you go. ^best case scenario! More probably trying to get an extra $295 :(

It's a fantastic looking car in my opinion :) In Europe, Japan, Asia and the rest of the world, the engine offerings will be 300h Hybrid, 2.5 litre, 4 cylinder 250 2.5 litre, V6 350 3.5 litre V6 In the US the same but no hybrid 300h!

If maintained correctly any Lexus petrol engine should do 200,000+ miles :)

Hi everybody. I'm Chris from England. I'm a member of the UK forum but thought I'd join here to see how you guys do it in the USA :) I drive a 2001 IS200 Sport, manual transmission. Mine has the TTE body kit fitted from the factory. I know my version of the 1st generation IS wasn't available in the US. Mine only has a 2.0 inline 6 block so is pretty slow compared to the IS300 :( But it's quick enough for me and for our rubbish roads. Here's my lex
