  1. My guess and 100% sure it a broken wire at the door hinge check the wiring going into the door open the harness up and check for broken wires good luck.
  2. Welcome Ben You are not alone with this uses parasitic battery drain! Welcome aboard from my experience this is an ongoing issue with Lexus and to be honest the dealerships and Lexus customer care don't give a rats !Removed! about you and this issue's. The remedy for the problem they told me to drive your car more often or purchase a battery maintenance charger and plug your car in, excuse me when you buy a vehicle you expect it to start every time you get into it and not have to worry if it will start. I own a 2010 RX 350 with 50,000Km! and yes the car is parked in the garage for weeks on ends also my other vehicle which I have not experienced any issue with that one. My first Lexus and my last! this issue has been on going from day, one sorry to be a bearer of bad news. PS if the Service department tells you did you leave your lights on or door ajar or anything to cause a battery drain JUST WALK AWAY.
  3. I drive a 2010 RX and when the warning light comes on indicating low fuel I can drive roughly 100 miles on empty.
  4. I would get the Valves clearance check and adjust that's my opinion.
  5. I received a recall letter from Lexus and they changed the oil cooler hose to a steal line at no charge, Dales121 if any damage occurred due to the hose leaking keep after them to fix the darn issue,
  6. Recall Details Transport Canada Recall # 2014043 Recall Date 2014/02/12 Notification Type Safety Mfr System Brakes Manufacturer Recall Number SSC228, SSC229 Units Affected 25,557 Category Car, Light Truck & Van, SUV Recall Details On certain vehicles, a manufacturing defect could affect the functioning of the electric brake actuator, illuminating various warning lights in the instrument panel of the vehicle and disabling the antilock braking system (ABS), traction control and vehicle stability control systems. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will update the vehicle stability control ECU software and affect repairs as necessary. Make Model Model Year(s) Affected LEXUS RX 350 2012 2013
  7. Have your rotors machined or replace sounds like they are out of round also check your brake pads. good luck
  8. I would check the rear wheel hub bearings also check the tires.
  9. Possibility It could be the head gasket starting to leak antifreeze into the cylinders or a cracked head, check your antifreeze level. As far as the rattle underneath could be a loose exhaust shroud
  10. Hopefully Lexus have found a fix for parasitic draw on the battery and not fixing the problem with a trickle charger on a $70.000+ Vehicle... The problem that I have I can't park my rx350 at the airport or in my garage no longer than one week with out the battery going dead and needing a boost to start...
  11. Take it back to your dealer and have them fix the problem, your Vehicle is still under warranty.
  12. Reply to Dsvetcov I also Had Dunlops Tires on my 2010 rx 350 with 40000 Km. I will say those where the worst tires I've had had in my 40 years of driving now I purchased Michelin latitude tour P235/55/19 and so far so good. Also in regards to your comment: Still RX 350 is the best on the road and will hold their value. I went into my local Lexus that week to see they new 2016 a salesman approached me and asked me if I wanted to trade off my Rx 350 and the would give me top dollar for my :whistles:.... After viewing and test driving my 350 with no accident or any damage and as the dealership would say in showroom condition, after crushing some # with his Sales manger came back and offered $20,000.00 Canadian Dollars for his 2016 @ $76,000.00 that's a $46,000.00 Loss in 4 years I purchased my RX at the end of 2010, so Dsvetcov I have to disagree with your statement :chairshot:
