  1. You're right it was added in 93, oops!
  2. He's got a 93. I'm pretty sure the cabin filter wasn't added until 95 (second gen).
  3. A flashing O/D light doesn't mean anything other than you have tranny codes, nothing specific until you read them. It's like the check engine light, it could mean many things. Here's how to read them: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html
  4. Water pumps are designed with a "weep hole" that act as an indicator when your water pump is wearing out and is in need of replacement. As mentioned, you will get a few drops where you park your vehicle. That's interesting, I didn't know that.
  5. No you can't just download everything. If you want all that info for only ten bucks it's going to take a little work on your part. If you're not willing to do the work then you'll have to pay the $100-200 for printed manuals.
  6. This is one of the first tutorials I did: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/headunit.html Very easy to do but you'll lose your changer and sub. I'm sure the sub can be wired up somehow but IMO it's not worth it, just add a aftermarket amp/sub. That stock sub is only like 25 or 35 watts.
  7. Read this: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/repairmanual.html
  8. Here ya go: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/body/fdoorhandle.html
  9. Whoaa, hold on here....you cut out all the factory harnesses?!?! I seriously hope you didn't!
  10. I was actually thinking about this question a few days ago: why does my mileage drop during winter? I live in MN too and every year I notice my MPG go down considerably during the winter. So a few days ago I googled that and found this: http://www.startribune.com/cars/11354696.html. Basically, cold weather does contribute to lower fuel economy. 17Lexus, check out my LS site for tons of maintenance tutorials. The suggestions the others have made are good.
  11. Hey, that's my car! If tinting is illegal in your state don't even bother. With all mods it boils down to what YOU like, not what someone else thinks.
  12. Congrats on getting these big jobs done yourself! It feels good to know it was done right :)
  13. I didn't have any codes or lights when I replaced my sensors but they were still out of spec. Man, if both your sensors read 0 I would say that's out of range! My *guess* is that your sensors need to be replaced, they don't last forever...some info on that here https://www.automedicsupply.com/faq.php?#change I think you might want to remove one and test it inside at room temp to be sure. I'm not sure really, the repair manual isn't always clear, but I would assume they are saying the sensor should be at room temp. I took my reading inside on the bench, at room temp.
  14. It's a job... http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/engine/timingbelt.html
  15. I have a couple tutorials for replacing o2 sensors, they're for 1st gens but the process is similar. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/EFI/
