I was wondering if any of you knew if i bought a remote from ebay, would I be able to program it with my car? and also will i be able to take the actual metal KEY part out and put mine in?.. Any help would be appreciated.. I bought my car with out a remote, and thoght it would be convinient to have one and the dealer charges 150+ for a new uncut key! :chairshot:

I ordered an aircondition vent from Lexus and I have no clue how to install it and DO NOT want to take it to the dealer to get ripped off (already got ripped off.. it was a $200 part) Hopefully someone can help me.. Thank you

OKay.. i have a 5 spd 1992 Sc 300.. I wanna know some input from diff people who own these 1992 sc's. If your sc 300 is an autiomatic, how fast is the pick up feel and then when you get to 60 and punch it, is it pretty quick? or like a doggg when taking off?.. Because when i take off in first gear, it feels pretty slow, and makes alot of engine noise (more noise then power).. after i get to third, then i can start to feel the punch.. but I just wanted some input (from manual and auto).. oKay.. i want to do a swap, and all the engines on ebay with less the 40k on em, are automatics, and i already have a 5spd in my sc300.. now, by any chance could i just use my current transmission and use that engine?, or is it totally not possible?.. I am a n00b so take it easy.. LOL.. anyways.. i knw its not smart to turbo my car as it is.. so im not gonna do that.. but, if it is possible, and i get the ecu and everything with the engine, is the wireing harness and everything the same also,? and will it be an easy swap for someone who knows what they are doing?.. LOL so many questrions.. Well thank you in advacne.. let me know

Hey DomLee.. do you by any chance feel the SC is really really slow during take off?.. cuzz i have a 1992 SC 300 5spd and its a dogg.. i feel the same as you after 100.. feels like it has nothing left, and during take off, it tops out so fast in first gear.. Let me know. Thanks

278,000 on a 92 sc 300 5 speed. I am not the original owner, but the car has been dealer maintained before it came to me.. :D .. i had to get the interior redone, and the engine has not been opened.. its juss had major maintainence done, alt, pwr string pump... etc... still runs, and looks like new... www.freewebs.com/nimski62 thas my baby.^^

hmm, i have a 1992 Sc 300 and I installed the 1995 tail lights which look different and better, and didnt have any problems... They must have changed the shape slightly in 1997

thanks for the help.. i would realy like to put a turbo then... how does the rest of the old car handle it... i dont want the car falling apart becasue of the turbo

but i heard my motor with 175K coudlnt handle a turbo...

will the 1989 Supra twin turbo 7MGTE motor swap with my car?? any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance

thank you... i changed the board (the black part with the MPH numbers) from the other cluster... the miles stayed from the other car... but i have bright needles now with the non-automatic board... its pretty cool...

ok, I have a 1992 sc 300 and i want to take a 1995 sc 400's needles and put them in mine since they are not burnt out... figured they would work so I change them out... no luck so i try to change the guts out... still dont work... basicaly i want to have the needles from the 1995 sc 400 in my sc 300, but i dont want the miles from the sc 400 (300,000!!) neways if anybody knows nething i shud do ?? its sucha time consuming process... 6 hrs... nothing

OK I have a 1992 sc 300 5 spd... (www.freewebs.com/nimski62) My dad just bought a 1995 sc 400 with a good temprature control display... i was wondering if it would be an easy switch... also the needles are good on the sc 400, but the speedos are diff cuzz it has traction control, and its a 5 spd so it dosent have the automatic lights and stuff on it.... could i switch just the needles out?? and do the head lights interchange (fog on the 300 HEAD LIGHT<hate it) and do the tail lights interchange?? and one more thing.... the NAKAMICHI STEREO i love it in the 400... if that stuff interchanges imma change it... so please advise me if you kno if it does or not...thank you
