Full Version: Separate Sc430 From Sc400 Forum
Lexus Owners Club (USA & Canada) > Lexus Misc Forums > Website Suggestions and Feedback
ooo
Management should consider separating the SC400 and SC430 forums. They are two totally different cars and issues. I realize there are not many SC430 owners, but I think we would use this forum more if we didn't have to weed through all the SC400 info.

Thanks for you consideration....

Sounds like a good idea. Might be a lot of work for the web master though.

I personally, would like to deal with the SC430 right here in this forum. They are a part of the Lexus sport coupe line up. We deal with sport coupes. We are not generation specific in these forums. I want to deal with owners of these cars. I may consider getting one in the future. I don't think it will be difficult to weed through and presents a learning opportunity for those who post. If everyone else thinks they should be separate, we will consider it. I'll leave this thread here for a day to get other SC member inputs - and then this thread should go to website suggestions forum for admin consideration.
Thanks,
AJ

I have a SC400 and have no problem trying to find info on my car (although it is tough to find any info sometimes on a 99) even though there are topics about SC300's and SC430's.

I agree. A sc430 is still a SC. I know that i can still post questions regarding my Soarer here since its the same base. At the same time, i never venture into any of the other forums cause i really dont care about the other Toyotas. I just figure that if you make a 430 only directory, there isnt going to be much action since there isnt alot of history for it yet.

maybe there should be a box next to the title, which states what year SC is being talked about. then all confusion about what year SC will be easy to identify

I said I would move this to suggestions/feedback forum a few days ago and forgot. Well, here it goes. I still think SC430 owners should be welcome in our forum for reference.
Thanks,
AJ
