I did some checking around here and I didn't see the answer to my question.

What happens if TPS are not used on winter wheels for an IS250? Is it just a dashboard light that is the inconvenience or is it a warning noise too?

On my Vette a boinger keeps going off with low tire pressure warning but that might not be the case with Lexus.

I think you mean "TPMS". TPS is the acronym for the "Throttle Position Sensor".

Cover the dashboard light with a piece of electrical tape if it bothers you -- I don't think any Lexus model with TPMS sounds an alarm.

I concur. Just the icon will illuminate, no audible alarm.

black electrical tape will work.

Yep I mean the TP Monitoring system. Electrical tape! Good idea & thanks.

I get the TPM warning light on the dash, as well as a message on the display for gas-consumption on the dash. No noise though.
