I recently bought a 1998 GS300 with a navigation system. Any ideas how I would go about getting the system updated? Apparently this system is hard drive based rather than CD/DVD. Any help would be much appreciated.

Because the last update was so long ago and the 98-00 nav is crude by todays standards, some 98-00 GS owners have obtained an HVAC control module from a non-nav GS and installed an aftermarket double DIN nav in place of the Lexus nav.
