Hi,
I've problems with the sunroof of my Rx400H-2006.
My battery went dead once and after that the automatic opening and closing of the sunroff doesn't work. I need to press the switch all the time and release it exactly when th roof is closed.
Any ideas?

yes
you have to run it thru a complete manual cycle to reset the auto function
you also have to cycle the windows thru a complete cycle - this has to be done for each window by using the switch for each seat - you cannot do it from the drivers seat

The owner's manual for your vehicle has this information. You should read it from front to back (passes the time while you're on the toilet).

Anyway, here's how you reset your sunroof.

Shamelessly copied from one of my own posts...

"Also if you disconnect the battery (or run it down like I did), the sunroof will have to be normalized. You can tell if it needs to be normalized if the sunroof doesn't close properly when you use the tilt switch. If you have to kind of guess where closed should be you need to normalize it."
