Didn't know about the service eDestination until I visited Lexus.com. Curious - looks like a pricey way to create your own POI (points of interest) and/or routes for the Nav system. Am I right? Is anyone out there trying the one year trail period?

Yes the edest is great. You can search for your dest at home, log in to their site, upload your dest, sent to your car, then you download the info. It is nice, but not sure if it is worth the extra $$.

I am using it since it is free for first year. Very convenient and it works as advertised. I don't plan on signing up after the one year trial period, so I am wondering if I wll lose my input destinations at the end of the trial period. The only flaw I have found with it is that the voice system does not seem to recognize edestinations. To use it, all you have to do is register on the web site....
