My trunk will not open with either the cabin "button," the electronic key or the release on the trunk lid. It will open with the metallic key. Although I sense a trip to the dealer,this is 2 hours drive, so any info would be appreciated.

Actually, I used the vehicle owner's last resort. I checked the manual and found someone had inadvertently turned off the electronic trunk system from the glove compartment. Problem solved. No harm, no foul.
