My 05 lx470 has 45k on it. I notice when it attempts to level itself on startup or with weight in the back, it now has a discernable thumping sound and feel while it is pumping. This is no longer smooth. The height leveling seems to be working otherwise. Any thoughts?

Sounds like maybe some parts need some lubrication? Popping and creaking noises with suspension parts usually means it's time for some lube. Take it to the dealer for an assessment. Looks like you still have some warranty left.
