I recently purchased a 2007 SC430 that was in beautiful condition except for scratches on the Plexiglas window that displays the temperature, AC/heater blower speeds, etc. It looks like someone tried to clean it with an abrasive cleaner. It doesn't bother me at night, but blocks the view of the readouts in direct sun. Does anyone know of a way to restore the Plexiglas? I checked with the Lexus dealer, and they want $1400 to replace the entire piece that includes that window.

Theres an anti-reflective film on the panel that is pretty naff. It sounds like some of it has come away. Just rub it off with something like household polish.
