Hello, welcome to the US LOC!

I've done both, and also turbo'd the 2JZGE with great results. What kind of power are you looking for and how big is your budget. The wallet, and parts availability will determine the way you should go.

which ever one can give the maximum power,. i wont be starting it for another year, i have to get loans paid off first. how much should i expect either of the swaps to cost.

Maximum power for?????? Drag racing?, street racing?, autocross?, what... do you want to stay on pump fuel or are we forgetting streetability and going track only? You have to know exactly what you want in order to know exactly what you need to get there. If your only going to give general ideas, then your only going to get general answers.

il be using it for drifting and a weekend car, i havent started it yet it wont be done for another year or so. so im just planning it out and i want as much info as i can, and keep my options open, i only know basic things about mechanics and i wouldnt be advanced on the subject, so peoples ideas would be useful to me. have you got any threads about your swaps.thanks
