I just replaced the antenna mast on my 2002 LX470 after it lost a battle with the car wash. I had to remove the motor to remove spline that was broken off. I got it all put back together and put the new mast on. The unit now will retract all the way in but refuses to extend all the way back out. It lacks about one section of mast to be fully extended. (I even dropped a Viagra pill in the fuel tank but that didn't work either). I have removed the cap, extended the antenna all the way to the top and held it while the radio was turned off to reset the memory that it appears to have. It still will not go all the way back up. Any suggestions to remedy the problem?

Fortunately, this is a VERY easy fix...just raise the antenna mast with the control button on your consol (near th e radio controls). Check your manual if you"re uncertain what button it is.
