I own a 2005 ES 330 with about 80K miles on it, and am planning to get 250K out of the vehicle. I have 100K warranty on the car, but am getting tired of the high service charges that I've been encountering for routine checks (oil, brakes, etc.). The dealer tells me that I'll soon need a timing belt replacement which is over $1K.

I've owned BMWs before and found quality independent service businesses to be available. Do any members know of any such shops in the Sacramento California area that they can refer me to? A link to a website would be great, or just a name and phone number.

Can't refer you to any specific shops, but I would look for japanese tuners shops. Better yet, have you tried a Toyota dealer. Their a lot less expensive than Lexus.
