So I have been reading that lexus has "soft paint and does not clear coat there cars". Is this true? I just bought an 08es350 new and want to make sure I do everyting that I can to make sure it stays looking new. So should I do anything special besides waxing, or do I need to "seal the car". If I do what product should I use to do it? Also should I do anything to the leather, I want that fantastic smell as long as possible.

Lexus obsidian black does not have a clearcoat, but the rest of their colors do. The paint can be soft, but it depends on the color.
