I have a 96 LX 450. Hand brake seems to have stopped working. Where do I start? Can the brake be adjusted? Where is the cable? huh.gif

I haven't had to adjust it before but the cable ties into a bracket on the rear wheel and actuates an arm that causes the E-brake pads to move out and push against the rotor housing. The cable may just need to be tightened up or it may have actually broke. I think the bracketry is pretty subsceptable to rust if you live in the rust belt. Take a look underneath and see if you can find the above mentioned and see if anything looks unattached or broken.
