I got my LS from Salt Lake City, and...you guessed it! They salt the roads in the winter, and there are a few small rust spots around the fender wells that concern me. If I could get this under warranty that would be great.

Sorry bud, but Lexus does not offer that long of a warranty......I think it was a 6 year unlimited mileage 'perforation' warranty anyways.

stupid! VW has a lifetime rust policy

It's quite difficult to get coverage though as it must be perforation, meaning there has to be holes in the body panel to be covered, and of course they will say the exposed metal should have been painted to protect from rust!
