Tried this topic in the rx330 forum but didn't get an answer there. Hope it's ok to ask the same question here.

I would like to install an always-on 12V power socket in the glove compartment of my 2006 rx330. Would anyone know which wires to tap in the vicinity of the glove compartment? I read somewhere to use the blue-yellow and brown wires, but in my car the blue-yellow wire is only hot when the ignition is on.
