I am going to detail the inside of my car and wondering what the latest recommended protectant is - for the vinyl coverings - dash, upper door panels, etc.... the last protectant I used on my old 1990 LS400 hardened ALL of the dash and door panels and numerous ticks and pops developed! I do not want a repeat on my 1991 LS400, as it is still totally squeak, pop, tick and rattle free.
Thanks in advance!

My recommendation is 303-Aerospace protectant which is suitable for all rubber, plastic and vinyl materials, and can also be used on leather. It provides excellent UV protection and does not leave a super-shiny and slippery residue. I also use it as a tire dressing.

I have high hopes for the Ultima Interior Sealant I bought, haven't had a chance to try it yet...
