Yesterday, the VSC and Engine Check light came on and stayed on (even after tuning off and restarting the engine several times). Is there a way to reset the warning lights to see if there is a constant problem before taking the RX300 in for service?

THANKS!

Clear the DTC.
The following actions will erase the DTCs and freezed
frame data.

(Operating the hand–held tester to erase the
codes. )(See the hand–held tester’s instruction
book for operating instructions.)

OR >>>>>Disconnecting the battery terminals or EFI fuse.<<<<<

EFI fuse (20-amp) from junction block,
located in left side of engine compartment

Disconnecting the battery wil erease radio etc. settings to, but pulling the EFI fuse and leave it out for 30 secs. or so wil do the job to.

But ... some codes are two-trip detection logic code(s). (the engine had to warm up two times and sometimes the revs have to be more than 3000.
Driving for a week not so fast ,no light on but going faster and the light wil come on.

and there is also a data field called "distance with MIL on" (mil is malfunction indicator lamp). The dealer can read this data, so do not say "it just came on for 5 minutes or so".
Pulling the efi fuse (under the hood) wil erase these data also.
