I am trying to connect my small laptop to my 2002 SC430 navigation screen so i can use it as a Carputer. Ive already purchased a video converter (Blaupunkt IVSC-5501) [post="CLICK HERE TO SEE!"][post="http://phaseonedist.com/blaupunkt/Video/Blaupunkt%20IVSC-5501.htm"]http://phaseonedist.com/blaupunkt/Video/Blaupunkt%20IVSC-5501.htm[/post][/post]

The laptop runs on windows XP. I was wondering if I simply connect the laptop through my Blaupunkt video converter, would it work with the touch screen?
If not do I have to purchase a special software or hardware to make a laptop work with the touch screen unit that is on the Sc 430?

you cannot simply connect a video cable and have an interface, im pretty sure your laptop will need touch screen software and it will need to be comptable with your touch screen in the car, it sounds pretty hard to do
