Are you people totally off your rocker, to ask for 50 bucks to become "gold member" so I can be allowed to put a single part up for sale?

Your right ,you do not have to pay to sell something here.
One the same note you also will not be allowed to post a for sale thread.
It is done that way so people do not come to the site in order to sell there parts. if you want to make a financial gain from this site then you will have to make it a gain for the one offering it to you also. It is a give and take relationship.

Agreed, who said you have to pay $50 to become a gold member to sell your parts? Anyone with over 20 posts can post in the buy and sell. The Gold Membership has other benefits besides circumventing the 20 post restriction.
You think anybody's getting rich off this site? Hardly, it costs the owners money.
We just don't want people joining here for the sole purpose of selling things, we want to reserve that ability for true members of the community.

No, if you take the time to participate in and contribute to the community you can post your item for sale. People in the past have tried to just post 20 meaningless posts, but they've found themselves banned and their posts removed.
Makes sense I guess. I was wondering the same thing, until you guys said AFTER 20 posts.
20 posts is very easy to acheive .
