My LX is a 99' and has a little over 76K

I have 234,000 miles and still going strong. This 2002 puppy is justing getting broke in!

Mine is a 2001 and I have 58K

I have a 2001 with about 39k

'99 with 77K.

Mine is a 2000 with 69,000 miles... but just today the check engine has come on so not sure what to think of that.. will contact the dealer on Monday

I have a 2000 LX470 and as I drove down my street to go home the odometer rolled to 100,000. I LOVE my Lexus! Only complaint is the Nakamichi CD changer system.

Mine is the same year (2000), with 57,900 miles but today had the CV Boots replaced both sides, antenna mast replaced and it cost $1.000 dolllars ouch.....have you had your boots replaced? I'm not too familiar with longevity of lexus boots.

i HAD a 2003 with 73,063 ... then one night my drivetrain messed up.

so i traded it for a brand spanking new 2006 lx470 with now 1500 miles.

2000 LX470 here with 70,317 miles as of last night. Only major problem so far was my ignition cylinder broke last month but i was lucky that it was in my driveway.

2000 with 116,500. New Transmission, supplied and paid for by Lexus at 82,000. FOR SALE. tdf@newhall.biz

2000 LX with 92,000. Bought it two years ago. I've had to fix the ignition cylinder as well (ouch), and do the 90K service (double ouch)

I know what you mean, while at the dealership I asked the service rep how much for 60k miles service and was told $850.00. What exactly do they do to the car that it cost so much? They don't even replace the spark plugs until 120k....oh well....

I have a 99 LX470 with 116,000 and it is still running strong.

1999 with 140k. Runs great. Unfortunatley rust around door bottoms and weep holes.

Carol- I am pretty sure that it's the sensors, you can have it done thru a local repair shop, save you some money there.

Tracy- it's ca common problem with Nakamichi stereo, ERROR3. It's SUCK. Bose is the best.

I have a 2000 470 wiht a little over 52K on it

What a coincidence! I have a 2000 and it just turned 69K miles when the engine light came on.

It turned out it was the oxygen sensor. I had it replaced by a Lexus dealer and it cost me $318.00 including taxes. This also includes the $99.00 for diagnosing the problem.

2003 LX: 54,000
2004 LX: 66,700

How long do you think I can keep the 2004 LX going? It seems great so far!!

Just purchased my '98 with 106k mi. Vehicle looks and runs flawlessly.

Just picked up mine yesterday from the Lexus dealer: 2003, 35K, Black/Grey CPO to 100K - GREAT CAR!!!

The front end seems to bounce a lot over bumps though... as if the shocks are bad but they're hydrolic right. Any other experiences like this?

Not familiar with that problem. At 106k mine drives as smooth as silk.

I have a 2004 with 24,000.

400K miles with normal service.

Engine may last 400k miles, but you'll definitely be spending a lot of $$$ on other electronic things that simple cars like Toyota and Honda don't have.

That depends on if you want to spend the money to fix them :0

I'm pretty sure if you wanted to enjoy the most out of your car, you'd get them fixed.

99 LX470 with 183590 miles and still runs like a new SUV.

2000 LX purchased new. 167,000 miles and running like a sewing machine and looks new. Only problems over the years have been the antenna stopped working twice, a mirror needed fixing, and an exhaust leak which was fixed under warranty. I had the 90,000 mile service at Lexus which included the timing belt and water pump. It was very expensive.

Biggest problem....Lexus Dealers rip off their customers when it comes to repair. Also, in my area, the work is sloppy. I avoid them whenever I can.

I have 81,000 on a '98 and lovin' it ! The only thing I have had to repair is the Starter !
