If you have any problem opening the zip file, it is not a problem with the zip file!!! Your software is stone aged. Upgrade @ winzip.com first, re-download second, ask for help third.

*If you have a '95, or '96 ES. The manuals are redundant. See the '94 Camry manual.
*I suggest the Training Manuals (mis-labeled as '93 ES Training Manuals) regardless of what you have. If you do not have a complete manual, refer to the '93, or '97 manual. Which ever is more suitable.

I have a 98 ES 300 with 145,000miles on it. I did successfully download the zipped FSM manuals for the 97 year but it prompts for a PASSWORD when I try to extract file(s). Can anyone comment on this please.

Not needed. They are hosted in quadruplicate already & I have/share control over 2 of 4 servers.
They're also backed up on my P90 file server that runs 24/7 in the basement, and on a locked DVD-RAM.

Hi, I downloaded the 93 LX 300 Manuel but cannot seem to unzip it. The PDF files show up when I open the compressed folder but I can't open them in Acrobat 6.0. It sayes it doesn't recognize the compression method. Do I need winzip or some other unzip software. I can't get winxp decompression to do it. Do you know what kind of compression it is? Thanks

Use the 2005 manual...

...and for the 2000 ES300 - use the '97 or '01 manual ?

The '01 manual would be closer for you. The mid-generationn update was 99-00. (Tho probably 85%+ of the 97 manual would be fine.)

So how would downloading WinZip benefit me, a MACINTOSH user? Why does everyone always assume the user has a Windows box?

BTW, I shouldn't have any problem opening the files as the Mac OS has .zip decompression built in.
