What should I have to pay for 2 qts. of halogen fluid for my headlites? Dealer wants $45 a qt. & says I'm almost 2 qts. low.

I know you probably made an error in typing this but just incase ,here goes.

Halogen is a gas not a fluid and is incapsulated in the glass of the bulbs.
It is not servicable in any car.

Please let me know what i am misunderstanding.

I just looked at my post & boy was I way off. It was $4 to $5 for a qt. of tranny fluid.
One of the headlights was cracked but still working & they wanted to replace that for $45. I will ask them to clearify that too.
