Does anyone know if there is an independent fuse for each mirror? My passenger side mirror stopped working today and I am wondering if it may be a fuse. Thanks!

Yes ! There is a fuse, it is situated in the Engine Bay compartment. The fuse is ear marked as ECU-B Fuse 10A. This fuse controls Anti Theft, Headlights,Interior Lights,Power Windows,Mirrors, ( Both Driver / Passenger) Navigation,Electronic Power Steering,Power Seats, Instrument Cluster, Electronic Suspension, Wiper Washer, Antilock Brakes Systems.

Now my question to you how did you derive that this fuse in other words is what has effected your mirror. Because the above related functions would also have cascading effect too. Do a test to the wire of this fuse box, they are color coded White / Red, Check out if there is any continuity with a voltmeter.

I repeat do not touch the Driver Side fuse which is marked as IG1 2 Fuse 10 A. The wire is color coded Grey / Blue.

cheers

No independent fuse for each mirror, you might have a bad motor.

Thanks! It does appear to be a bad motor as it works sporadically. I deactivated the backup function and hopefully that will buy me some time before I have to replace it.

There is a TSB to replace the actuator ( motor ) if you are covered under CPO.
