I have a 2005 GX470 with the initial factory navigation DVD. Please let me know if you have recently upgraded your navigation map and have an older copy (but newer that the factory version) to share, My email is jmkwok@mailpoint.us. I believe 2005 GX is Gen4.

Hello everyone, need some help with my nav map and arrow please. the map displaying is either upside down or backwawk, sidewawk and then the arrow showing backwawk too like the car moving backwawk if you know what i mean , anyone encounter this problem b4, thanks for your input. verson 3.2 or 3.1 it is 04 model though

Hi there.
New forum member here. Just got back from a 6-hour roadtrip in the wife's 2003 GX470 and can't stand the out of date software any more. I'm so glad I found this forum and thread. As I said, it's an '03 and has never been updated from factory so I guess I have Gen 2/3? Would anyone be willing to share how to upgrade the nav software and what version is appropriate for my truck? I see that version 8.1 is out.
